Road 29 - Major Trucking Corridor?


  The table above is located in Exhibit T on page 8 of the Windy Hill application.  

Yes, this is correct 400 trucks on road 29, trying to cross hwy 34, waiting for numerous coal trains to clear the tracks.  400 truck trips per day is equal to 16 trucks per hour or nearly one large waste water disposal truck passing through less than every four minutes.  Add a couple school buses, a slow moving tractor, maybe a rural mail carrier and we can anticipate trucks backed up idling for miles each and every day.
